PYRAGRIC, French leader in pyrotechnics, for the World Ski Championships 2009 in Val d'Isère
On three occasions, PYRAGRIC will light up the sky of Val d'Isère for the coming World Ski Championships to be held between the 2nd and the 15th of February next. The French leader and specialist (Head Office : Rillieux, Rhône) has been selected by the Organisation Committee as their technical partner to create and produce the various firework displays scheduled for this world sporting event.
These original and amazing displays designed by the Major Events department of the company offer a further prestigious creation.
PYRAGRIC will take part in the opening ceremony on the 2nd of February ; then two totally new pyrotechnical shows will be the fitting end to the various events. The first « All faces of love », will be presented on the 8th of February after the ladies downhill run ; the second « Ad gloriam » will light up the night sky during the medal ceremony of the men's giant slalom on the 13th of February.
These three very different sequences will show all the facets of an art where both the artistic and the technical sides create a real emotional experience.
Designed and orchestrated by a dedicated team of specialists, both shows will offer an array of unique displays with exceptional colours and musical rhythms.
The very specific context of the altitude, the constraints linked to the temperature, to the brightness of the snow have required very intense prior technical preparations at the company's head office.
